Maps

You may think you can rely solely on your phone when hiking on the Appalachian Trail, but at Mountain Crossings we believe in being prepared for any situation you may get into when in the backcountry. That is why we sell a large variety of maps. What may seem old school to some are a sure and trusty way to have the information you need, when you need it. Whether you are looking for a topographic map of the area you want to hike, a road map to find trail heads or a mix of both, we have it. You will find detailed, water resistant maps of all the surrounding Wildlife Management Areas in North Georgia, as well as the classic National Geographic maps for all the best spots to hit in the Southeast. We even carry small, simple maps of the Blood Mountain Day Hike and of certain sections of the Appalachian Trail. These "everything you need and nothing you don't" maps are a great way to have in the information you may need in a tight spot without weighing down your pack.
